"Mo Yu, he’s out!"
As that figure emerged, the atmosphere of the entire world seemed to ignite in an instant. Countless gazes burned with excitement, filled with both shock and greed as they locked onto him.
The sight of First Tianzun and the other nine figures stumbling out of the Heavenly Profound Treasure Hall had been witnessed by all. Though no one knew exactly what had transpired within, it was clear that First Tianzun and the Gu Clans had returned empty-handed.
Mo Yu, however, was different. As one of the continent’s most renowned weapon refiners, he had spent a significant amount of time inside the Heavenly Profound Treasure Hall. There was no doubt that he had reaped unexpected rewards.
Everyone knew just how astonishing the treasures within the treasure hall’s treasury were. The fact that Mo Yu had entered and emerged unscathed—if anyone believed he had left without any gains, they would be deluding themselves.
Mo Yu’s figure flickered into view. As he raised his head, he was met with countless hungry stares. The feeling was akin to being surrounded by a pack of wolves—pairs of green, greedy eyes staring at him, their avarice reaching its peak.
"Big Brother!"
Zi Huo’s face lit up upon seeing Mo Yu. His towering figure shot forward like a guardian, standing firmly at Mo Yu’s side, just as he had in years past.
At the same time, Old Demon Tian Ming also rushed over, following closely behind Mo Yu.
Mo Yu nodded slightly. Though Zi Huo and Old Demon Tian Ming had yet to speak, he could naturally sense the tense atmosphere lingering in the air. It was evident that this tension stemmed entirely from him.
For a moment, the suffocating stillness in the air persisted. Then, the crowd watched as First Tianzun slowly stepped forward. Not far away, Kun Huang of the Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan also revealed an expression of intrigue.
"You really are full of surprises," First Tianzun remarked, his gaze fixed on Mo Yu. A cold laugh followed, its tone an indistinct mix of resentment and genuine surprise.
Mo Yu smirked. "What, didn’t you just enter the treasure hall as well? Why the shock?"
First Tianzun studied Mo Yu from head to toe, noting that he showed no signs of exhaustion or depleted Dou Qi. His eyes flickered with a cold glint as he said in a chilling tone, "Drop the act. The treasure hall clearly didn’t target you, did it? I’m quite curious—just what did you do inside? Could it be that, because of your weapon refiner identity, the hall treated you differently?"
"If that’s the case, then hand over the weapons you obtained. Otherwise, with all these eyes on you, escaping will be difficult."
Mo Yu arched a brow. Indeed, he had gained quite a few powerful weapons inside the Heavenly Profound Treasure Hall. He hadn’t expected First Tianzun to guess so accurately. Truly, the wisdom of the old was not to be underestimated.
"You want me to hand them over? Do you have the strength to take them?" Mo Yu scoffed, making no attempt to hide his gains.
Hearing this, First Tianzun was momentarily stunned. The surrounding factions and Kun Huang exchanged glances, their expressions unreadable.
"Brat, be smart and hand over the weapons. So many treasures—how could you possibly enjoy them all by yourself?" First Tianzun’s gaze turned icy.
At the same time, several gazes from the Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan turned toward Mo Yu. Kun Huang, now standing beside First Tianzun, made his stance clear without a word.
It was evident that the Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan was displeased with Mo Yu for monopolizing the weapons from the Heavenly Profound Treasure Hall.
Around the surrounding mountain peaks, countless strong figures watched Mo Yu with blazing eyes, yet none dared step forward. The deterrence of Yuanfu was still enough to keep them at bay.
"Mo Yu, give my Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan two ninth-tier weapons, and I will take my leave," Kun Huang said, his gaze fixed on Mo Yu.
"You think taking my big brother’s things will be that easy?!" Zi Huo growled, seeing the situation turn against Mo Yu. His face twisted into a fierce expression.
"Heh, how bold," Kun Huang sneered before mocking, "Even if you possess the Primal Lion Body, you’re still just a mere junior. As for the Abyssal Lion Clan, aren’t you the only Dou Sheng left? With that being the case, do you still dare to stand up for someone else? Are you courting death?"
As he spoke, an overwhelming aura erupted from Kun Huang, surging into the sky like a raging storm. A terrifying suction force, akin to a tornado, swept across the heavens and earth, making everyone hold their breath.
As if in coordination, First Tianzun also unleashed his Dou Sheng aura to its peak. Two immense forces bore down like dark clouds, filling the world with an oppressive pressure that made the very heavens tremble.
Two Dou Shengs—between them, they could erase ninety-nine percent of the factions on this continent with a mere flick of their hands!
All eyes turned to Mo Yu. Facing two Dou Shengs, what choice would the youngest Dou Sheng on the continent make?
Under the countless stares, Mo Yu slowly lifted his gaze. His expression remained calm, yet at the corners of his lips, a cold smile took shape.
"Zi Huo, are you scared?" Mo Yu tilted his head, his silver eyes gleaming with a sharpness akin to a thunderstorm waiting to explode.
"When we were in the Northwestern Region, we were never afraid. Why would we be now?" Zi Huo grinned, his rugged face brimming with ferocity—more savage than ever before.
"In that case... let’s fight."
Mo Yu smiled. Yet, on that youthful face, a chilling intent crept forth as his aura rapidly surged.
From the mountains, countless powerful figures watched as Mo Yu’s aura surged wildly, their expressions shifting.
A battle far fiercer than before was about to unfold. This time, it involved not just two Dou Shengs—but four!
Even the Gu Clan’s Elder Gu Kong and the Grand Elder of the Little Pill Tower turned their gazes toward the impending clash. Though they would not antagonize Mo Yu over mere weapons, neither would they intervene. They merely observed in silence.
However, Mo Yu’s reaction had caught them by surprise. First Tianzun was a veteran Two-Star Dou Sheng, while Mo Yu had only just broken into the Dou Sheng realm. Although the latter’s potential was greater, in this immediate battle, the outcome was uncertain.
"Heh, Kun Huang, after we kill this brat, we split the spoils evenly, agreed?" First Tianzun sneered at Mo Yu before turning to Kun Huang.
"Indeed," Kun Huang nodded before casting a scorching gaze at Mo Yu.
"Heh, you’re dreaming if you think things will go that smoothly," Mo Yu’s icy gaze swept across them.
"I’ll make sure you die without a trace of regret," First Tianzun said darkly, his killing intent surging.
"Zi Huo, Kun Huang is yours," Mo Yu said calmly.
"Got it, big brother. Leave him to me," Zi Huo responded firmly. Though he had only just reached the Dou Sheng realm, his Primal Lion Body made him no weaker than the infamous Kun Huang.
Mo Yu nodded, pondered briefly, then waved his sleeve, sending a streak of black light shooting toward Zi Huo.
"What is this?"
Zi Huo caught it, but his arm immediately sank under its weight. His eyes sharpened as he activated his strength, barely managing to stabilize it. When he looked down, he found a massive black hammer in his grasp. Its surface was covered in intricate and enigmatic patterns, radiating an oppressive weight that made even the surrounding air feel dense and sluggish.
Zi Huo’s eyes burned with excitement. He channeled his power to the limit and swung the hammer down. In the next instant, everyone was left dumbfounded as a massive fissure, like a colossal serpent, snaked across the ground and split a distant mountain peak cleanly in two.
"Good stuff!"
Zi Huo grinned widely. This divine hammer, with its immense weight, was a perfect match for his fierce and domineering physique.
"This is the Clear Sky Divine Hammer, a ninth-grade weapon—perfect for you," Mo Yu said with a smile.
"Clear Sky Divine Hammer... a great name!" Zi Huo murmured, then turned to Mo Yu with a grateful smile. "Thanks, big brother, for the gift."
"We’re brothers, no need for thanks," Mo Yu responded with a faint smile.
The surrounding experts, witnessing this scene, narrowed their eyes as greed flickered within. It was evident to all that the black hammer in Zi Huo’s hands was no less valuable than a ninth-grade pill!
"It seems your haul was indeed extraordinary."
The First Tianzun’s gaze was also ablaze as he fixated on the black hammer. Even he could sense the terrifying aura emanating from it—an aura so overwhelming that even a Dou Sheng expert would feel uneasy.
Clearly, this was a supreme treasure Mo Yu had obtained from the treasure hall!
"You want it? Then let’s see if you have the strength to take it!" Mo Yu sneered, his words as sharp as blades.
"This brat is mine." The First Tianzun’s voice turned sinister. His killing intent toward Mo Yu had reached an uncontrollable peak.
"I’ll handle that Abyssal Lion Clan brat," Kun Huang said, casting a calm glance at Xiao Yan.
"Then let’s begin!"
The First Tianzun let out a chilling, owl-like laugh as he clenched his palm. A massive bone blade materialized once more, hovering before him.
Then, his figure flickered, stepping onto the bone blade. As waves of energy rippled across the blade’s surface, his body astonishingly began to merge into it.
"Man-blade fusion!"
Seeing this, the nearby Gu Clan elder, Gu Kong, couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow.
Even he felt an overwhelming sense of threat from this technique.
"Mo Yu, I have spent centuries perfecting this fusion with the Bone Emperor Blade. Today is the first time I am using it in battle, and you shall be my first offering!"
