Shannon Quinn communicated with Charlotte Sheffield on her phone about some preferences she had for the bridal gown, and then she began working on the design.
He was actually quite curious about what kind of girl Charlotte Sheffield was, capable of making Ronan Rhodes, that playboy, settle down.
After spending three days drawing the sketches, she showed them to Charlotte Sheffield, made some small modifications, and then Shannon Quinn began to sew it by hand.
Ronan Rhodes had also been busy these past few days with wedding preparations, using Skylar Vance’s company to plan the wedding. Even though they had a team, many details still required their personal oversight.
Landon Sutton was merciful lately, not making Ronan work overtime for several consecutive days, and taking leaves became easier than before.
The Rhodes brothers didn’t have many family or relatives, and Charlotte didn’t want to invite her family, saying everything should be kept simple.
So, the invitations were only sent to some of Ronan’s friends and brothers.
The wedding was set for the 8th, and on the 6th, Shannon Quinn’s gown was only entering its final stages, and it was arranged for Ronan to bring Charlotte over for a fitting that afternoon.
Coincidentally, Jasper Sutton came that day too.
Shannon Quinn initially thought, as Charlotte’s brother, he should know about her wedding.
But seeing his surprised reaction on site, it seemed he was unaware.
Charlotte stood in front of the mirror wearing the bridal gown, initially smiling, but when she saw Jasper in the mirror, her whole demeanor froze.
Shannon Quinn stepped up and smilingly asked Jasper Sutton, "Mr. Sutton, why are you here?"
Jasper Sutton finally moved his gaze from Charlotte and, with a faint smile on his lips, replied to Shannon Quinn, "I came to find Aidan."
Shannon Quinn: "Mr. Lockwood went to school to teach, he probably won’t be back until after four, what do you need him for? If you’d like, you can tell me, and I’ll pass on the message."
Jasper Sutton: "No worries, I’m not in a rush, I can wait for him to return."
As his gaze once again fell on Charlotte, Shannon Quinn sensed a subtle atmosphere between the siblings, neither actively greeting the other.
"Congratulations, Mr. Sutton."
Jasper Sutton snapped out of it, glanced at Shannon Quinn, with a somewhat forced smile, seeming somewhat absent-minded.
Originally thinking he would be glad about his sister getting married as her brother, yet now it appeared he didn’t seem to want Charlotte to marry.
"Brother, you’re here too?" A newly suited up Ronan Rhodes emerged from the fitting room in a white suit, warmly greeting when he saw Jasper, assuming Charlotte had invited him.
Jasper Sutton simply smiled, standing aside without a word.
Ronan’s eyes immediately fell on Charlotte, unable to stop praising, "Charlotte, you look absolutely stunning, you must be the most beautiful bride in the world."
Charlotte smiled back and said, "It’s because Shannon’s design for the bridal gown is beautiful."
Ronan began to flatter, "Of course, the sister-in-law’s design is impeccable, but you bring out the essence of her design to the fullest."
Shannon Quinn joked, "Ronan, we still need sales personnel in our store, looks like you’re very suitable."
Ronan chuckled, "I’m so in demand, unfortunately, Master Nate can’t do without me, otherwise I’d definitely come work with you, sister-in-law."
"Stop kidding around, the wedding’s just the day after tomorrow, are you well-prepared?"
Ronan: "It’s my first time getting married, lacks experience. If you’re free, could you come with us later to the venue to help evaluate?"
"Sure, I’ll have someone package the outfit for you to be sent over, leave an address at the reception later."
"Great, no problem." Saying so, Ronan pulled out his phone from his jacket pocket on the couch, wrapping an arm around Charlotte, saying, "I’ll take a few selfies first."
Shannon Quinn smiled, going over to help tidy Charlotte’s hair.
No one noticed Jasper Sutton’s departure.
After a brief interaction, Shannon Quinn realized Charlotte is really special, giving a very pleasant feeling, sweet, gentle, and quite humorous at times, especially when bickering with Ronan.
The playful exchanges almost made Shannon forget what a scoundrel Ronan used to be.
After trying on the bridal gown, Shannon Quinn went with them to the wedding venue.
On the way, Charlotte received a text message.
The sender was an unmarked number, but she knew exactly who it belonged to.
The message was unsettling.
A brief sentence: Cancel the wedding, don’t force me to act.
After reading it, Charlotte immediately deleted the message, refusing to reply.
However, her demeanor turned unusually anxious.
