Arthurian Cultivation

Arthurian Cultivation is a mash-up of Arthurian legend, Fae lore, and cultivation. Taliesin's goal of escaping his family's blood curse and living a quiet life is shattered. He experiences a brief death, a disastrous arranged marriage, and the emergence of a terrifying new power, the death glamour. Equipped with his magical lute, wit, and a band of fated, chaotic Knights, Taliesin seeks a life as a bard in a perilous world. However, political machinations, ancient prophecies, and a conspiracy involving Divine Cultivators demand his attention. He faces a choice: fulfill the destiny envisioned by the Lady of the Lake or forge his own path. The story features a competent, not overpowered, protagonist. It's primarily character-centered, told from Taliesin's perspective, and blends cultivator elements with Arthurian themes. The cultivation system is familiar yet uniquely flavored, incorporating Fae characteristics like truth-telling and oaths. Character growth arises from effort, introspection, and occasional brushes with death within a Europe-based cultivation world where Ki is Fae-connected Glamour. Arthurian lore provides context for major figures. The novel avoids harems, overpowered protagonists, and strict historical or lore accuracy.
