Ascension of Chaos

In WolfShine's "Ascension of Chaos," humanity's world is irrevocably altered by a Primordial System that implants visions and broadcasts a universal tutorial. Upon returning from their first System Event, survivors discover their homes overrun by Gates to monster-filled domains, many of which have already breached. Society's established abilities are revealed to be merely the initial skills within extensive Skill Trees. Ashley awakens with amnesia, remembering little beyond basic knowledge. Her situation shifts when she discovers her own Skill Tree, containing a singular primordial-gifted skill: the ability to unlock and assimilate the Skill Trees of those she kills. Readers can anticipate a LitRPG apocalypse featuring Skill Trees, a Skill Tree Assimilator, livestreamed dungeons and battles, and the protagonist's gradual growth from weakness to strength as she absorbs new abilities. Chaos magic and diverse magic systems will emerge through assimilation. The protagonist begins with few memories and emotions, which develop over time. Romance and harems are excluded, and the MC’s strength is a result of her journey, not an initial state.
