Flowers Are Bait

In Spruce Hospital, Dr. So Lee-yeon, a tree doctor, has been concealing a special patient for two years: a man in a vegetative state and coma. Lee-yeon desperately wishes for him to remain unconscious, fearing his violent nature. Her quiet life is shattered when, through an improbable turn of events, the comatose patient awakens. Upon regaining consciousness, the man has lost his memory and sense of reason, exhibiting a dangerous instinct. Frightened by his murderous tendencies, Lee-yeon fabricates a lie to protect herself, claiming to be his wife, Kwon Chae-woo. This deception is directed at the very man who, two years prior, buried someone alive and attempted to kill her. The narrative then plunges into the repercussions of this lie, with the man's past trauma and Lee-yeon's desperate attempts to maintain her fabricated reality.
