Lessons on Raising a Partner

In the secluded Elune Forest, home to beautiful elves, a stringent rule was imposed: young elves could not leave the forest until their fiftieth birthday due to a history of human enslavement. Hai'an, an elf eager to explore the world upon reaching this milestone, anticipates a celebratory departure. His coming-of-age ceremony, however, takes an extraordinary turn when he transmigrates into the body of a plant, a sapling named Shaking Grass. This small plant is subsequently purchased and gifted to Auguste, a retired Starfleet Marshal. Auguste, a member of the ancient dragon race, dedicates his retirement to searching for his scattered kin following political turmoil. Initially seeing Hai'an as merely a rare botanical specimen, Auguste is astonished to discover the sapling's intelligence and capacity for learning. The narrative explores the developing relationship between the stoic dragon and the transmigated elf who has lost his original form.
