Story of Douglas

"Story of Douglas" by Ugochukwu Igwillo is a suspenseful novel exploring determination and perseverance against adversity. Douglas becomes a tailor, as does his former gang member Scorpion. Cliff secures hospital work. The story concludes with Douglas joining Cliff in the United States, leaving open questions about the future reunion of ex-gang members, Doris’ reconciliation with Gladys, Dan’s secret about Doris, Alice’s forgiveness of Spider, and the apprehension of the villainous Bullet.
