His predetermined path takes an unexpected turn when he encounters a mysterious individual known only as the Moon Thief. This fateful meeting ignites a new quest: to uncover the Moon Thief's identity. To achieve this, Heinald must ascend to the pinnacle of the Ainsar world, a journey that will ultimately lead him to become a tyrant. The narrative follows Heinald's pursuit of strength as an Ainsar. The Moon Thief bestows upon him a power, and as Heinald begins his Ainsar journey, he realizes that such gifts come with a cost. Consequently, Heinald's objective shifts to understanding the true price of this unasked-for power and the reasons behind its bestowal. The story unfolds within a medieval European setting, featuring kingdoms, swordplay, and magic.
