"The Supporting Character's Harem is Very Normal" by HikaruKiki defies typical fantasy tropes. Instead of a smart protagonist, intelligent heroines, or surprising plot twists, it offers a foolish protagonist, ordinary heroines, and a mundane plot, focusing on slice-of-life elements and "some shit thing." The story follows Lathel, a bankrupt 50-year-old who dies and is offered a second chance by a god to travel to another world and assist male protagonists. His role is to resolve issues surrounding the heroines, essentially preparing the way for the protagonists to easily win them over.
