In "Urban Pokémon," Guo Yi is transported to a modern world where Pokémon are integral to daily life. He activates the "Master Trainer System," where his Pokémon's strength directly mirrors that of his students. As his students grow, so do his own Pokémon, propelling him onto the path of a celebrated Pokémon mentor. One notable disciple is Su Qingxue, a 19-year-old from Shanghai, daughter of Ye Qing, leader of the Azure Dragon Society, possessing the "Power of Viridian" and modeled after Team Rocket's Giovanni. This world utilizes Pokémon in diverse roles, from firefighting and disaster relief to competitive sports. The narrative highlights various individuals under Guo Yi's tutelage: a city-dwelling youth akin to Professor Oak, an assassin channeling Elite Four Karen, a tennis player with Bea's spirit, and a film star resembling Diantha. Years later, society discovers that the leading figures in every field share a common mentor.
