In a diverse and flourishing world where humanity has evolved with the introduction of alpha, omega, and beta classifications, Dr. Andrew Knox, an environmental researcher, is content as a beta male. His balanced position has facilitated an easy life: he thrives in his research facility, secures funding for his projects, and is building a promising relationship. His life is further brightened when a cautious omega neighbor moves in, relying on Andrew’s helpful beta nature. However, Andrew's idyllic existence shatters when a fabricated research project with falsified data ruins his reputation overnight. Waking chained and imprisoned, Andrew realizes he is a test subject of a trusted scientist. His respected career and identity are stolen by a crazed researcher he once trusted, perhaps even loved.
